But was on pictures I bid for . I also bought a transit too and it fell off forklift in carpark , they offered to knock me £200 off I haven't bought any off them since. Someone there is massively on fiddle . Blue cycles better and live auction even better . Buying and selling cars has gone down shitter.

By the way the price you see on copart will usually double and more from the 11pm sale date closure to what it makes in auction

I don't think Paper would be cheapest unless you risk daft offers , it does work sometimes you would be supprised . Some people just want shut , you have nothing to loose. I buy from auctions all over . Alot of auctions not are wayyyyy to commercialised and any Tom dick or Harry buys . There is only one I go to left where most are dealers and prices are still right . I intend on coming out of selling motors this year . The money isn't worth the hassell , multiplied by 10 when selling salvage . I am sick to back teeth dealing directly with public

I do it on eBay. Keep a few quid aside for a badly written ad etc. I use Clios as they appeal to both guys and girls. Tried it with a ka once and had and had a mare. That's the only one I lost on.
I would do it more but I'm not sure on the tax/dvla implications. At the moment my missus uses them until I see another one then I change it and sell the old one. Easy peasy. I always get the log book done properly too never used the traders section yet.

I only do what works for me bud I'm not claiming to be an expert or anything . But from what I watch the 1.2s seem to be most popular with bids etc.

I once knew a car trader that was local. Did a bit of work for him washing cars and driving him to auctions etc. We delivered a car to Doncaster and on our way back spotted a 1.1 Rover 25 with hand written for sale sign on it. Knocked 250 off it and bought it for 500, sold it for 800 the following day!

I tend to stay away from small cars from auction. With the theory, if its right enough, it would be on a forecourt or at side of road. Little cars always sell well, if they are in the auction, chances are they are buggered. Like the KA I bought before Xmas!!
I also bought a 53 3 door 1.8 Astra SXi, had FSH, 1 owner from new, was in great condition. I won at £675 + fees. So was £805 all in. Taxed it, put a cambelt on it, hand brake cable, new front brakes and MOT. Stood me at £1,050. Sold 2 weeks later for £1,500.
