Off piking tomorrow, probably the last session I do this winter - then it's back to feeders and wagglers for "proper fishing"

Ive been really chuffed this winter as i've only had one session out of probably 12 where i've caught less than 6 carp. The carp havent been monsters (between 4-10lb) but it's been great sport!
I've fished right through the coldest days where the pool hasnt been frozen and still been catching. I have a feeling this spring/summer is going to insanely good.

Depends where you go matey. Some places are stupid stupid money and to be honest there are so so so many french lakes. Go to one that you have heard of or had recommendations for.
We went to a lake last year and it was 900 quid a week for 4 anglers, we had 86 fish between us, the biggest was 49lb (lake record)
I had 26 of them. Biggest being the 40lb Sturgeon!
