Not mine but my parents, but since I'll be living in it and me and my dad will be doing all the work thought I'd put a progress thread up

Its a 4 bedroom detached house located 2 miles from the beach

Lane up to the house, bit annoying at how long it is , have to wheel the bin down this for it to be emptied!

Back of the house

Back garden

One of my favourite bits of it , set of ramps to work on the car

View from the front of the house, 2 bedrooms and 2 front rooms share this view , pic doesn;t do it any justice tbh.

Back hall

Leads through into the kitchen

Front room 1, will more than likely be the dining room

Living room

Bedrooms just need a lick of paint and new carpets really to get them looking decent

I plan on changing this room into my entertainment room, will have a good sound system, big TV etc

Should look nice when we're done with it

that is stunning. so much potential there. not keen on the concrete garden though that view and secluded-ness is my idea of heaven.

Cheers lads, my Mum is loving the comments , I love the land around it too, I can see me buying random cars and just parking them up and leaving them , a garage is in the plans Dan but not sure when we will get round to doing it, not a priority atm, but it will be done eventually.

Yea living out in the country has always been where I would love a house, hopefully this one will be mine one day , theres shit loads of potential like you say, concrete gardens aren't really my thing either but its good for the dogs and theres always the lawn out the front so its not to bad.

I know what you mean about the sea air, as soon as I get the Corsa down I'm going to put it up on the ramps and get it undersealed

I'm not sure exactly how much it was but I'm told less than £150K, which in my eyes is bloody cheap!

Looks ideal that Jamie.

Decent size house, secluded, nice bit of land. Can't go wrong.

Get a big garage built with a set of ramps inside!

So much potential with that! really nice, I would hazard at 300K+ down here

But fuck wheeling the bin down there and back up! I would actually drive it down and back

Looks like it doesn't actually need much work other than repaint, refloor and partial new kitchen. Plenty of room for a conservatory too which would be nice to open the kitchen out to.

£150k?! FFS

Never saw pics of your old house really, but looks to be quite a big jump up in size? Looks like it has plenty of scope too!

That metal barn in some of the pics yours too?

Stuff wheeling the bin down that far though - get a quad bike to tow it down on Could be an interesting driveway in the snow too
