I've been reading recent articles and it seems an ever increasing likelyhood that the US will push Israel toward an attack on Iran (After all Israel can easily be classed as an extension of the USA in the middle east seeing as they get given a huge annual budget to buy weapons from the USA).
What do you think?

If Tony Blair's government was still in power the uk would be a war with Iran already, and would have probably given the US reason the help out too.

Tensions have been rising with Iran for a while now, It's almost inevitable we will end up going to war with them at some point imo.

I say we let them and not get directly involved. I can't see the point of getting tangled up in another middle eastern conflict when the Falklands is up for debate. Leave Afghan completely and station the troops in the South Atlantic, badda bing badda boom. Stop fighting other people's fights for them and do some fighting for people inside our own Commonwealth if it comes down to it.
On the original topic however, who knows? There may be plenty about the Israeli's that is just as bad as the Iranians or whoever else for that matter but I feel they're the lesser of 2 evils. Although, reading that page and the very similar BBC one it looks like they'll struggle on their own, so if the yanks want to get involved then let them. Do we really want any more crazy middle eastern countries having nuclear weapons than we've already got? ie Israel.

Power is the main reason. Plus everyone seems to forget the stabilising world economies is high prooirity too.
