Yeah, been doing it to me all day, wont let me in my messages at all. Everyone elses i know seems to be ok though.
Just says "The Messages service is temporarily down for maintenance. We're constantly working hard to make a better product for you. Please be patient, and the system will be back up shortly"

No, but on a similar why do people always say 'inbox me' on FB when they want someone to message them? Can't people construct proper sentences any more?

This. I hate the phrase "inbox me" etc. Its a message, or an email. IMO of course
