Hi there i yestaday bought cream leather seats for my corsa and ive got rear seats and cards all done today, when it come to the front seats, i couldnt undo them on the floor, they are soooo stiff!! Anyone know an easier way to get them out??

i had this problem with mine, one side came out fine the other one i had to drill the heads off the bolts and try and remove the rest of the thread with some mole grips

Get more leverage if they havnt rounded off already

I gave it more leverage but it just wont come out, even warmed it up underneath the car on the bolts with a gas bottle, would a windy gun get them out?

are they torx head bolts or normal ones mate? i've had cars that have had both!

Cut the nut off of other side, fit your own one?

Have you took the seat off the frame and left the frame bolted to the floor. This is what i had to do wen changing my seats but they where for other corsa ones dont know if you can wen fittin the calibra ones.

these seats are corsa seats but been leather trimmed, i got them off holmesgsi. They are torx head bolts jaffa, need them out asap as its doing ma head, didnt realise they would be so tight!!

Try just taking the seats off the frame and putting the new seats onto the old frames. This is what i had to do. Makes life alot easier!

^^yeah just take the seats off the subframes, only 4 bolts (if you can get to them)

Yer thats what i had to do. 4 bolts i cant remember what size. Bit awkward being upside down but dont have to undo the tight ones.

the leather seats i have have subframes already on so al just take them off fit the seats to the frames in the car. Thank for all your help, al see if i suceed when i do it after work later, al let you know how i get on

Get a decent shallow T40 bit and make sure you give it some downpressure on a decent 1/2 rachet.
If not, try and nip it up the other way just a touch first, then turn it.

Ive done the seats after a load of swearing and bashed knuckles on my left hand, couldnt of done it without the help of my missus holding the seat for me lol

i just used a normal torq key with a big adjustable spanner on the end. i call the spanner grandad as it belonged to him, it always comes in useful haha
other option iv done before is grind the heads off but be carefull not to burn your carpet like i did haha
drill it outs a good one aswell but you may need to tap new threads in
x4 bolts under the seat are 13mm but id imagine their a bitch to get too
