Was done by my mate, just use a thicker paint than normal to prevent it scratching too easily
Some people will get a half decent finish with a rattle can, it just depends how fussy you are, which I am very fussy

Hamerite smooth brushed on I thought stripped cars were Ment to look like track cars so the shoddy paint job just adds to the trackless of the car lol

I wouldn't have got it sprayed if it was a cheap track car, but I think brushing hammerite on the rear of an M3 is a big no no
