I'd walk, burn anything I could for heat. Eat my own livestock and carry on with life as I do already . No worries at all

I think they will have come up with an alternative for all of the main uses of the products that come from crude oil by the time the oil does run out.

A more realistic scenario is a disruption in supply because of the instability of the Middle East.

Amazing we have created a very fragile existance based apon oil, almost like a drug addict bleeding the World dry, is only a matter of time before we do run out of oil anyway, can't see that we would be weaned off of machines that need it, all doomed basically !

The problem is humans, not the oil

Somehow I dont think it will be in our lifetime, Maybe in our childrens childrens lifetime it could be a possibility. Afterall they are now looking into other ways to make energy and also ways of fueling vehicles.
