Ok the other day someone posted on here about how good HIC were for insurance. BOLLOX........ Thy're only good on 3rd party, not fully comp. I rung up and asked for a quote for fully comp, and the guy said i had to be over 25. USELESS how is anyone supposed to build up a no caims bonus

u can build no claims up from 3rd party

I'm with HIC and I'm 22, they quoted less than half of what the others did! Direct line wanted £900 and they wanted £465.

So needless to say I was very happy!

That was fully comp btw, on a modified 1.2 16v.

Insurance also includes £1000 ICE cover, track insurance and I can drive any other car TPF&T!

I am fully comp with HIC im 22 I have got a full kitted sxi and I am paying £370 quid

thats with 1 accident fault and 1 non fault claims on both and 3 points for speeding ;-)

never knew sxis could do 108mph ;-)

Cheers for the posts guys. All i wana know now is why the fuck did the knob on the fone tell me he couldnt do anything for me fully comp coz i'm not over 25. I'll give em another ring and see what they say and post up the results.

I just renewed my policy for £510, HIC wanted £1100 on a pug 106 gti with 5 years no claims.Gave me the same rubbish about being 25!!!

On a 1.5 diesel (Corsa Merit, i think , . Its £957.00 TPFT,

I thought that tis was quite a good price, considering no years no claims etc etc etc
