anyone recommend what i can use to clean my hoses with? have tried gunk, seemed to work but has made my hoses sweat by look of it and makes them sticky.
Hoses have since got abit oily again since fitting them back on as had oily hands at the time

brake cleaner doesnt leave a greasy residue or make em sweat

already done it now, just used wd40, removed most of the oil stains with gunk the other day, but wd40 got rid of the oily finger prints from when i re-fitted them, cheers though

i use wd40 on mine after someone told me about it, think it was sporty boy many years ago. works great. if i leave it too long i get a rag and wipe gunk over it as well just to get the poshness back. in fact i need something to do so may go clean some pipes.

yeh think i heard baby wipes somewhere aswell, but dont have any to hand so thought id pop the question up and see any other recommendations, was almost out of wd40 aswell

dashboard wipes work ok to an extent as well. although the pipes need to be quite clean to begin with, just leaves a shine on them
