This might be better on AOC, but I'm on CS more.
The wipers on my Astra are knackered. They don't "park" in the correct place (they stop 3 or 4 inches higher than they should), they are running a lot slower than they should, on the slowest speed, they stop halfway.
I'm guessing the wiper motor is knackered, but could it be as simple as something like a fuse? I'm guessing if it was the fuse, they wouldn't work at all 
I'd like to fix this as cheaply as possible because I'm hopefully getting rid of it in the next few months.

It's the Moter it's a Coman fault with astras
I also had same problem with my Astra van

Motor definately.
Hundreds for a new part or 30 - 40 quid from the scrappers

Could also be the rack seizing up if they aren't as fast as they should be.

the new motor should come with the linkage attached so if it is the linkage that is jamming the new motor would solve it
