May be a repost, but I don't G.A.F if it is!
Been following this post for quite a while now, the attention to detail and neat little modifications are awesome imo.

Long project, but worth a read, especially on a rubbish, rainy Monday!

the shiz i use
"I chose 3M 08800 sealer as this is some of the best protection available, I originally ordered 11 bags which turned out to be very optimistic as in the end I ordered 20 .
In total the materials for the under side treatment have come close to £500, which is a lot given the end result is rarely seen, but I figured it's an investment in protection for all the work that has gone in to the shell."
apreciate the work but a mk3 fiesta is so

Love the way he says he's giving it to his girlfriend so wants it around 280bhp, then a few posts later says the goal is 500bhp
Interesting thread though

yeh it's a long read, and I haven't posted it previously as it's been quite a slow project, but is starting to pick up speed a bit now.
Yeh it's only a Fiesta, but the skill and neat touches are cool regardless. He's planning to do an E-Type Jag next, something tells me it'll be pretty special

Don't know where people find the time! You'd have to have no other hobbies and not much in the way of a social life :/ unless you were ultra rich and you didn't work...

True it is a bit ott for a fiesta but you know as well as I do the bodywork alone he's put in an awesome effort
Love nut and bolt rebuilds, let alone the ingenuity on using other ford parts to improve it ie- using 5 gear off a diesel and making 2 gearboxes one for sprints and one for top speed
Ryan Coughtrie take note when you get round to doing a GSi rebuild lol

Had a quick flick through at dinner. Looks immense.
Should have kept it the original darker colour IMO.

Like the way he is going to the extreme to stop any rattles or squeeks from the interior panels.
