Was thinking since I have "road side" with my bank and have a sticking caliper on a car I just bought I could ask them to unstick it or do I have to drive away a bit and pretend it just happened?
Do they have to be tax'd and MOT'd as well as i'm getting an MOT soon.

Best not wasting their time. They aren't stupid and will spot if the car hasn't run for a while and just either fuck you off for having a non road-legal car on the road or tow you back home or to a garage.

They aren't mobile mechanics and if it's not a simple fix they don't do it at the roadside. They certainly won't unsieze a caliper.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

My dad once called them because he couldn't get the spare wheel off the back of his Land Rover so they came and took it off for him, this was outside his house

Yeah, unless it's a certain distance away from your house, you'll need home start.
