Been offered a car, but it has no tax and test, and is about an hour away. Do i have to get it taxed and tested to drive it home?

You know what i mean. Is there anything i can do that will make it legal to drive home? Like booking it in for an MOT, but what about tax?

MOT station has to be within reasonable distance. 1 Hour away is not reasonable.

Book it in for mot back home then drive it. Don't think they have it set in stone just yet that you can only do a certain distance.

Doesnt matter. Ended up sorting someone out to drive my car up and drive the corsa back... got there and the car was a heap of shit. Lovely £20 and time wasted! Prick
