DS2500s are a waste of money, imo.

I'm running £27 Mintex pads and they're great!
Also have EBC ultimax, but just gonna get normal discs in future as I believe they're a waste of money too.

Yep, nothing really to be gained from performance/uprated disks other than them looking pretty.

I have ebc turbo grooved discs (got them because they were goin cheap) and £35 pagid pads and it's just as good a set up as the ds2500 pads I had previous. My mates got the same pads on his LCR with the solid pagid discs and there superb.

Really love this, the grip is unreal. Still not 100% happy with the brakes but that's personal as I'm sure some would love them. Got 46mpg driving to Mum and Dad's earlier on a steady drive but then unleashed hell taking dad for a run. Really do get the best of both worlds with it

As said alot of ibiza/polo/fabia folk use the audi tt brakes as an upgrade, and usually just run standard or mintex pads. Nothing fancy and they all rave about them. Id try a fresh set of discs pads and fluid
As for hoses, Iv seen it mentioned before that the tt hoses are braided (internally, beneath the rubber) although cant say for sure

Gave it a wash, paint restore, polish and wax today. Wheels are desperate for a refurb but aside from that its sweet as a nut.

I love that colour, I'd probably preferred a grey interior though. If James doesn't end up buying it I want 2nd dibs

Only thing we're both missing from the disco is a centre arm rest and a cup holder-there's nowhere at all to put a drink so just looking at them now but they're around £250!!! Also looking at a second set of wheels, it's on 18s as it is, will 19s go on with no arch work?

19s will go.

Get the qs wheels. Very nice wheels have have different offset on the rears making them look wider.

Changedmy rs4 wheels for QS wheels
