I have no idea what the price of scrap is like etc but was wondering what sort of money a scrap yard would gove you for weighing in a ford focus saloon?
Would be a drive in so no collection fees etc?

Check first before you take it there.
In my younger days I towed a Nova with my 1200 Corsa all the way there to be told he'd give me nothing, didn't have the heart to tow it all the way home again.

Its alright; it drives with MOT until december. Guy who bought my Almera is scrapping his focus after he picks mine up; car really wasnt that bad so thinnking of offering the scrap money and selling it on myself. Just wasnt sure what scrap value was.

Think a stipulation is that you need to have owned it over a certain time.

Also, they may take money off if it's being scrapped with tyres so could offer him less than scrap value based on that.
