I think that's quite expensive.

I would try putting a well written and informative advert on gumtree and see what happens.

No real need to use Autotrader unless times get desperate and you can't shift the 182 on other free sites.

It's expensive but everyone knows autotrader.

It's not expensive really if it gets you 3 times the exposure.

Do an internet only advert. Its £10 for 2 weeks. More people use the website anyway.

Has it changed recently then? 2 weeks ago sold a Leon for over a grand and was £10. Sorry.

My car is on there at the minute. Always sold cars on AT but the prices are a little steep IMO. Factor the cost of the advert into your selling price...

You were right. The mrs put it on and I just assumed it was same price as the last car I sold. I did wonder why people put the price at £200 then fill the ad saying its actually £2000. I stand corrected.

I just pay it. I find you get much better exposure and better buyers.

eBay and Gumtree just attracts people wanting something for nothing.

AT told me I had 137 views on my advert in a week....I guess it is a hand holding site too for those with no idea how to sell a car.

It sells cars though so its worth paying.

I paid £36 to advertise my missus mini for 2 weeks andit didn't sell. So paid £50 for 6 weeks and it sold in 4 days :-( lol

My bike & 2 previous cars I've paid £50 for 6 weeks and they've all sold within a week, well worth the money IMO.

Paid for Pistonheads & eBay and when I asked the people how they saw the car they all said Autotrader.
