I have a Concept 300, alarm can be a pain in the arse sometimes, but it's customisable.
What really pissed me off is the shit installation of it in my Astra!

You can either do it using the keypad thing in the car (with the instruction manual of course), or with a laptop and the CliffNet cable, connected to the Concept ECU box.

made my own clifford, only problem is they are complex alarms and need to be installed by the right people to a very high standard or else they will fail

Got locked out of mine, with the engine running, thanks to the auto-locking doors (rev-setting needs to be raised a little, I reckon). Only went to get some de-icer from the garage, because the one in the car had run out, and the door swung shut as I nudged past it *click*.
Now I have a spare key, you learn from your mistakes!

Yep, me too. Had it over a year and no probs at all.
I have heard that the most important thing with the alarm is the instalation, get that done by the right people and you should have no problems at all. (excluding user error i.e. locking yourself out).
Even if you do have a problem, providing it is fitted by an authorised fitter, you should have a lifetime gaurentee (sp?) anyway.
Dan B - You can turn the automatic locking off.

This I know, and knew at the time, but that wasn't very useful knowledge when I was already locked out of my car!
Plus, it's a useful feature, I just need to up the lower-limit for it locking the doors in the first place...
