I think I broke my collar bone last night.
Do you think its worth while going to the hospital? I can't imagine there's anything they'll be able to do other than give me pain killers. Is that correct?

Probably should get checked out seeing as it takes about 3 months to heal properly! You'll want every extra edge to get sorted quicker.

It's best to get it checked out, regardless if all they can do is give you painkillers. They can give you the good kind! I dislocated mine from my sternum when I was in a car accident and was slinged up for about 6 weeks.

Don't do what a lad did we go the pub with, He broke his after falling off a motorbike, he got up the next day, put some deep heat on it and started to swing his arm to loosen it up and did this for a couple of days, in the end he went to the hospital to get it checked and turned out it was broken and needed pinninig!

Could be bits of bone floating around or further complications, I'd rather have a nice photo of it to know what I was up against.
