Been looking at these as a cheap temp second car; have seen a few 1.9 and 2.2 both diesel models with around 70K on and FSH for sub £2K. I have never owned or driven any renaults so know little about them apart from the paper stats?

Any help appreciated?

The Renaults of that era, guessing it's going to be 2001-2004 for 2k had some electrical issues, the dCi engines are really good though.

I personally wouldn't be scared to buy a Laguna with a FSH if all the electrics was working.

Silverstone alloys seem a little bit soft as well, they tend to bend and get flat spots so this is another thing to look out for.

Had a 52 reg one. All electrics were fine, but the turbo consumed itself - that's how it was explained. This was the 1.9 Dci and read it was a fairly common fault on them and costs a lot to repair through a garage.

Terrible. Engines are good and the best bit of the car by miles but not without their problems.

Unless its VERY cheap, I'd steer clear IMO.
