I've got a fair amount of tube to bend soon,
From 1 inch up to 2inch,
At the moment I'm looking at the sealey ones that seem to be flooded on ebay,

It'll only be used this time then I'll probably stick it back on there,

But I'm a bit worried on the results they might give? So has any one got experience of using one building a cage etc?

Tried tool hire places round here but they all sell the same style with the two pins and the die on the ram,

Any other suggestions welcome

Cheers

Ahh that's quite impressive!
Did you find it squashed/deformed the bend much?

well no, the pipe stayed round BUT where the round rollers sit on the tube we found it squashed it slightly there from the force kinda put a flat spot on it, BUT we also found that if you got a piece of pipe cut it in half and placed it around the rollers to increase the surface area sort of it, it didnt put the indents in the tubes then. but yea it bend this no problem the one we'v got.

My advice and I have done alot of pipe bending if your using the cheap pressure type machines then weld the ends up and fill it with sand. Once bent empty sand.
With the cheap benders they tend to collapse the pipe the sand stops this.
Roll cage tube is CDS tubing
