How do you fit them?

My drivers side one has fallen out...surely if you use sticky pads then you can't slide it up into the window??

I never used sticky pads when i had mine on the corsa or ibiza,

all i did was stick them in with no clips/pads.

the proper way i think to fit them is stick pads on the outside of the lip (ie side facing outside) then stick the clips up the inside to keep the gap for the window to fit.
