Okay, so I'm going to RWYB end of June and it'll be the first time that I've taken any car on the strip.

My questions to you are;

1.) How much is it in total (i.e signing on fee and going for runs)?

2.) Any rules on taking passengers down? (Recently seen photos from PVS so I know you can do it but they need to pay extra?

3.) Do you need to wear a helmet if the car is non convertable?

Thank you.

1.) Ł10 admission, and Ł25 sign on fee, unlimited runs normally unless its a show day (like PVS, Japshow etc)

2.)1 passenger as long as your car is fully street legal and will not exceed 130mph.

3.) Only if you car will do over 110mph at the 1/4 mile line.

Nath - yes it is that simple. Its far from organised.

And Whittie is refering to the good old days when me, fro and pickford had 20xe corsas, spending all day abusing it up the strip. As the day was coming to a close and people starting to go home we could essentially drive off the strip and back on again within minutes as there was no queue. One of my last runs I was too far over the line so had to reserve for the traffic lights to be green, I left it in reverse by accident and launched it - I only moved about half a metre then smashed it into 1st and quickly fucked off. Still did a 16s 1/4 mile though

To this day pretty much no one saw it happen apart from a select few people

Do people take their numberplates off or cover them up when going up the strip? My mate who I'll be going up with says he'll be covering his up.

Guessing he does that for when he sells the car. Somebody on here got bitten trying to sell a car as the prospective buyer found pics of it on a track.

Problem is, if you cover it up, you have to do it every time.

You've posted that you're going to Santa pod, your reg is in your avatar, putting two and two together isn't hard

Don't see why people cover there plate up tbh. I tracked my 106 and Clio and told both people who I sold them to they'd been on track.

Id rather someone say it's been on track than lie and try hide it, could be lying about all sorts then couldn't they.
