i need to bare metal a set of alloys i used nitro mors but it hasnt even touched the paint

whats a better one to use

get them bead blasted its not as harsh as sand blasting.
then use some etch primer.

Go to your local paint supplier they should stock it, nitromors changed there formula, Its a waste of money.

if you tried this ignore this : slap a good couple of coats of nitromors on, cling film them up and leave overnight - usually works.

if it doesn't they might be powder coated? gasket remover spray is supposed to be good for getting that off.

i had a shit load of trouble getting paint off my fanblades... try a really corse wre wool brush on a drill

Who was the tool that put alloys in a fire to strip the paint?

They're more than likely powder coated. Can't you just scotch the original paint and paint over that?
