i've seen a few people say use ATF fluid in the gearbox instead of gear oil, well ive seen this on ebay:

I'm pretty sure you need EP75/90 off the top of my head it's what I used. ATF is too thin.

atf is thicker i think, atf is normally used in manual gearboxes that crunch in the gears like landrovers ect

ATF DII is pretty thin.

you are best off getting oil from vauxhall, usually around £12 to fill most boxes, looks like atf but isnt! dont use ep gear oil may be cheep but u'll get problems down the line!!

idont vaux do special oil for them ? red stuff
