I'm about to replace the standard wheel in my '98 Sport. I'm removing the wheel and bag but want to know what boss will fit a Corsa that had an airbag?
The wheel is a Momo Apache, but I'm told Momo don't do a boss for airbag cars, and that I'm probably gonna need a Raid boss.
What have you guys used with your wheels? I want to make sure I get the right one first time.
Thanx

yep i wanna know this also (as ive a momo race wheel, and i have a non airbag boss, and my cars got an airbag , ididnt notice it was wrong till i had the steering wheel off!!

In the haynes/maxpower book the boss fits over the reel of tape stuff, and has a plug to put into the yellow airbag lead, to disable the airbag warning light, but it doesnt say what company its made by, and the wheel they fit is a momo)

didnt know they made different bosses for air bag and non air bag.

I fitted a steering wheel to my mates 306 just ordered the steering wheel and boss for a 306 and it fitted fine.

have any of you actuially tried fitting it?

that may sound dummer than it should as i havent seen the two attachements to compare.

Yes, there is an airbag and non airbag boss, but I'm told Momo don't do the boss for airbag cars.
I got caught before with a previous wheel because the boss wouldn't fit my car.
I've got the wheel, I just want to make sure I get the right boss before removing the present wheel.

Cheers for that Tomas, I'll dig their number out and give them a ring to see what they say.
I just want to make 100% certain that I get the right boss, as I don't want to take off the original and find the new one don't fit.
Have you got an aftermarket wheel on an airbag car?

i looked at ma maxp moddin book, and the boss they used was deff a momo 1, u can c it printed into the metal. It also came with conections for horn, and 1 for the yellow airbag lead, so the warning light still functions as normal, even though theres no airbag.
