hey guys i got a 1.2 8v corsa its bog standard, i ca get a cheap 2.5 v6 from a calibra what do i need to know and what do i need to do this conversion, engine mounts ecu ect also so something got to cut and re-weld the inlet im new to the big engine conversion so any help would be great

redtop you need engine box loom ecu brakes!
type 1 or 2 mounts
extended gear linkage
rear gear box mount spacer
standard starting and charging loom off original engine
pkp adapter plate ecotec pipe
suitable four branch manifold or custom one for corsa

V6's arent the most popular conversion on here but arent as hard as people make out.

also what are you wanting to use the car for?

back manifold and down pipe will need some fabrication to clear the rack and shaft but as much as people say you do, you DONT have to strengthen the bay unless your going for mega hp. a solid corsa bay is strong enough. bulk head out though

cheap but good gain mods : G cams, 2.0l flywheel, bigger lower divider, port out the inlet (early ones best), FPR....

they also like the F20 box
