hello

i have a fli active sub and it has been working fine since october , but recently has been going into protect mode , all the wiring and fuses look fine . It will work fine when driving for a mile or so and then go into protect mode and just thump the sub every few seconds even with the RCA's removed. The amp itself doesnt seem to be over heating , im starting to think that the amp is knackered as i cant see any wiring faults that could cuase this ?

anyone have any ideas on where to look ?

I had the same years ago in my first car, amp was fucked, I got a external amp, removed the internal one, and boxed it in with more mdf wood, then ran it using the external amp, sounded better too.

if its not broken it be a crapy earth done all this with my mates subs as they couldnt wire it in proberly cos there simple

i thought it could be the earth if the amp isnt broken , its a corsa c so i will try find a better earthing point and see if it continues , thanks
