Changing the clutch on the Astra and I stupidly didn't check which way the old one came out
Is it possible to put them in back to front or does it not matter? Theres a flat side and a deep side.

Usually says on the friction plate which is the gearbox side. Generally flat side to the flywheel.

Doesn't have any stickers to say which side is which. Should've paid attention to what way it came out :faceplam:

Put flat side to the fly wheel. Better be right or I'll go on an internet rampage.

Nothing worse than the moment you find out it's the wrong way around and you've got to do the whole job again, yes I'm speaking from experience
