Don't see the point in 3D personally. If your are not going to use the feature much, save the money imo and buy a set without it and save the money.

Most 1/2 decent sets will have it built in anyway so saving money and getting one without it will generally mean you'll end up with a TV that does everything else worse
I have that TV, not had any problems with it in the last couple of months. Films, sports and xbox are all good on it and I like the fact it automatically syncs with my NAS

Try finding a TV equal to that, but without 3D...

I personally like the new line of LG's! Get decent reviews as well.

However, for 3D gaming, I wouldn't recommend passive 3D. When testing I found the drop in resolution to be a huge drawback.
On the other hand, with a an active 3D LED I get headaches after 30 minutes of use...
I'll still claim that the best solution for 3D gaming is plasma.

If you will not be using the 3D feature much, then go for it!

Go for it. We got an lg 3d led tv had it a year almost no probs great tv. The quality on sky 3d etc is awesome and gaming is pritty cool aswell
