Ive got a creamy top and cars running like crap and tappets are going mad! What are some other signs of my head gasket going? Thanks

Losing water, shit in the coolant tank. Take it for a buzz round the motorway and see if the cream shit clears!

Wiped that creamy shit off about a week ago and its been sunny so im 90% its not condesation! Cars running really bad at the moment so i just want to watch out for the signs! Not loosing alot of water really!

the water bubbling in the expansion tank could be a sign too

Sniff test and/or compression test should be pretty conclusive.

Could also be a cracked oil gallery in the head too. What engine is in it?

Thanks everyone, something wrong with air flow system and idle control system and tappets are going and seems to just want to die :/

White smoke out of the exhaust is due to water getting into a cylinder.
No heat coming through the blowers in the car when turned on hot.
Losing water.
Oil in water, water in oil.
Mayo on the cap and dipstick.

A lot of people just assume head gasket when they see the mayo but it's often not the case. As has been said, if you want to be more sure get a compression test done.

I'm doing my hg atm and I was losing water, pressurized expansion tank, coolant smelt of exhaust fumes and rough running. Although this is on a x20xev.
