is this ok to use to try and stop my crank seal from leaking and restore the valve stem seals

Halfords sell it, its just really really thick oil that mixs with the oil in your engine and makes it thicker. What oil do you use at the minute? might help to just use oil that is a little ticker then what you are using

i use gm 10w40
