Rplaced the coolant in the pug monday, ever sinc, temps ahve been fine, cooler than normal, as expected
however when i checked it at 4am this morning before driving to work, there was a like chicken tikka kind of coloured / textured substance on the inside of the coolant/expansion tank lid and a little floating in the coolant, what isit? to be worried about
temps were fine on the drive into work today

coolant used was a diluted mix (50/50) of the red/pinky halfords stuff for post 98 cars etc, says it meets all amnufacturers ratings etc

If its not causing any issues I wouldn't be concerned about it, Could just be the shit from the bottom of the radiator that has re surfaced when you replaced it

it will be rust/shit from the rad.
flush it through again.

yea flushed through with hose pipe, rad and engine, when disconnected from each other
cheers guys, car behaves normally otherwise
