looking at doing the kitchen at the moment and im having the quartz vs granite debate/decision..
anyone have either and how are they to live with.. ive heard mixed reviews depending on the granite?
not sure, but i know they are gona be pretty pricey but IMO well worth it

I'm also about to make this decision! Do you mean worktops or floor tiles? At the moment I'm leaning towards white quartz tiles for the kitchen floor and a black granite worktop.

quartz worktop, was thinking of quartz floor tiles as well, but maybe a different colour,

A friend just paid a lot of money for a granite worktop. It marked the first day they got it. The installers game out and sealed the whole thing again but they are still having problems and have to be really careful with it.
Not the first person I know who have had this sort of experience.
My brother just had some composite stuff which is quite clever - on-site they blended all the bits i.e back splash and the end sections all so it looks like one bit. Really impressed with it and would go with that over granite now

ive seen that stuff before as well, looks seemless, clever stuff, do you know where he bought that?

That's called 'Corian' rob
It's the future and has most of the benefits of granite without any of the drawbacks.
