Bought some used springs and there was only a little bit of surface rust on them but me being picky thought id rub them down and prime them up to protect them a little bit and ive just found whilst doing the priming its basically impossible to get a even finish around 100% of the spring? Any tips or tricks just to help? I know it doesnt have to be perfect and no one sees them but im intrigued?

Thanks
Chris
