Got my first DSLR yesterday (D3100). Can anybody recommend a decent book for beginners or an online guide to have a look at?
Also, any easy to remember basic tips, I see there are quite some photographers on here!

I bought this book when I first started with my SLR. Its a very good read and has some good tips

Scott Kelbys book on CS3 taught me the basics and then you just tweek it to suit you style.
