So I've just taken my engine out an there's some sort of loom at the back. It wasn't attached to the xe loom but just wanted to know if it was ment to be?

It goes on the alternator and then over to somthing else lol but there's plugs coming off it and also the battery terminals.

This earth here goes from here to the battery terminal :/

And also what is this? Is this plug for a oil temp gauge?

thats your starter/alt loom, last plug is a oil pressure switch , that is what puts the oil light on the dash on
