Does anyone know if this sump will fit the X18XE1 block, mate has put wrong size bolt on bottom, gearbox side and pierced the sump, have the X14XE sump from engine i've taken out.

Pick up pipe is different and needs modding, so no, not easily.

How much does the pipe need modifying? Have a mig welder, presuming it's steel, can easily cut and weld?

Pipe needs to be cut and altered, pref purge welded i believe, dip stick made shorter and either remove or bend the top windage tray in to accommodate

Ive got one in my shed if you want to travel down to kent and get it... got no sump plug

Will the x14xe pick up pipe fit the x18xe1? Will it not just bolt out & bolt in?

As far as I can remember, the x14xe one would be too short and too shallow for the x18 sump, do you'd have issues with the oil pressure.

I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern onto the block is different too, which is why when using an x14/16 sump on an x18, Warren used the x18 pick up pipe and had it welded.

OK cheers mate, been trying to find another sump today but no luck.
