is there a earth wire of some sort that goes onto the steering colum area up behind the clocks

Yes there is mate. its just behind the clocks and down a little bit, its onto that metal frame

still no joy. just been down for 30mins, tried earthing it on the steering colum (13mm nut) and also tried earthing on the chassis, still not rite

I don't hve a B anymore as I scrapped it sorry. What's that earth for anyway? Can you not just earth it off somwhere else?
