They want you to get everything from them.
When i got broadband from them it was cheaper to get TV than not so when the guy came to install it he asked where i wanted it installing so I told him not to bother as I won't be using it so he didn't.

Why on earth would you not 'bother' having the cable box hooked up to your TV seeing as you are paying for it anyway?

I'm currently in the market for Internet and also saw this and it annoyed me, what also annoys me if there tv packages that are basically freeview lol!

Probably something to do with that the phone lines are 99% profit for them and, on the off chance that you do use it, it'll make them money.
It's still cheaper than Sky/TalkTalk/BT Infinity on it's own though - take it out through TopCashBack for some more dolla

Because I have Sky. Why bother trailing a cable all around the property to cable a box into the living room if your never going to use it?

If he really wants it, he can fill out a "spotter" form which will make someone go check if the property can be connected, chances are it can be if the next house along is cabled
