Does anybody have a graphical version of the pricing difference between these 2 models?

2008, tax, fuel costs, residuals etc

I understand they are both the same cost at that year.

Can anybody assist with what specs each car has at 2008? Don't say Audi website as its for 2012 model of course

Similar in initial cost second hand though? That's what's putting me off a diesel but surely a diesel can be mapped to match a S5 power?

As for general spec - a well specced TDI S-line will probably be just as well specced as the S5.

In fact for the money youd probably end up better specced in the TDI - Nothing is really standard in audis

2008 S5 will be the v8 model I think

They were replaced with the supercharged V6

I was undecided about whether to go for a A5 S line (2.0 Petrol) or a S5 because they were priced about the same on the second hand market.

I ended up with the A5 S-line because the costs to run the S5 would have been ridiculous. I get about 39MPG out of it, would have loved to have got a diesel but they cost an extra 3-4k and I dont really do much mileage nowadays (about 12-15k a year)

My sister has just swapped her 4.2 s5 for 3ltr tdi a5, the tdi is loads cheaper to run fuel wise.

How's the 2.0 petrol? Can you get that in a quattro?

May price some up! But edging towards 3.0 tdi

went out in a quattro, not sure what variant but it was a machine. had a sports mode button and semi auto gearbox
