I have one for when Im at uni - stop my pikey, Irish, Brummy and Southern housemates nicking my food - no the reason Ive got it is cause my bedroom is furthest from the kitchen - and I cnat be arsed to walk down there to make a cuppa or get beer, so I have one in my room.... it can be used to keep things warm s well - if u flick the switch on the back

Ive got 1 in my room..cos i cannae b arse to work downstairs for a bevvy! ..got it from Focus Do It All..Twas only £40 with a 12v adapter aswell!

It also heats things up aswell as being a fridge...so it would keep the curry warm on the way home
