I really want to get a oil temp gauge fitted on my xe, just wondered if anyone on here has done it, and if its a fairly straight forward mod..

T-piece the standard oil pressure switch and stick an electrical gauge in place.

Oil temp gauge? Can't you get the sump plugs that have a sensor built in?

This is pretty much what you need to do, there is a couple of plugs on the back of the XE you can take out and fit the pressure sender.

oil temp gauge needs its sensor fitting in the sump. can be fitted in the plug with a new plug/sensor unit or a second boss welded into the sump just above the sump plug is the prefered location to messure oil tempreture.
