The lorry would have caused it to snap at the base for it to snap In the middle something would have been holding the top of the pole either the wire or looking at the pics to me looms like the steel support rope as that is in the exact opposite orientation of the snap

i done a complet 360 spin round a roundabout , on my second night of driving , endded up faceing oncoming cars ,
