But you're here and it's gash! I lived abroad for 4 months one summer, I didn't work though as all the jobs were badly paid so I thought what is point busting my balls for 2 quid an hour for 15 hours when I can do everything I want without spending silly money and then get a normal paid job back in England. I owed about 3 grand by the end but had the best summer of my life.

If you can't think of anywhere better to live than the lakes then that's good for you, wish I was as content.

Fair enough. My job is quite good and over here I would not want to help load ungrateful peoples shopping in to there car.
But if I was in Canada, and doing it where the money is not essential than I can say I would enjoy it more

Getingt an offer from one of the graduate jobs I'm applying to would be a good start!
Everything else depends on whether I have to move to a different area of the country for a job next year or not...
...apart from getting a new car, that'll be high on the shopping list

To be honest, I've always done what I wanted to do in life. Made a goal and set out and achieved it. Although I enjoy working, the job is just to let me do the other things I want in life and not the purpose of my life.
Got the degree I wanted
Got the job I wanted
Went travelling
Been racing
Done Bungees / Skydives etc
Next up for me, is to move to central London for a bit for fun. Make sure I'm out 5-6 nights a week (not necessarily getting drunk), but just meeting people, having experiences. Maybe get a camera and do a bit of filming as a creative outlet.
Equally, I realise I'm getting older and so fitness is something I take for granted at the moment. So I've been in the process of getting fitter and will focus on running / biking races and maybe triathlons if I get my swimming better.
Then once bored of that, buy a house, settle down... maybe write a book since I love writing essays.
I also aspire to one day own my own business, perhaps just a lifestyle business that lets me enjoy the things I like, while paying the bills.
Oh and somewhere along the path, I'd add some token John-D's - own a ferrari or porsche gt3 rs at some point (even if I sell up after a couple of months)... Nurburgring in sub 8 mins too. Probably go racing again! Maybe race in the Nurburgring VLN!

ive a stable, secure relationship (3 yrs)
and a car i love to drive
what is next?

I take life as it comes. I've been to uni, modded cars, bought new cars, sat on car parks, been PVS, bought a house, started my own company.. I feel anything is achievable if you want it.
For me now i need to build up my company, fancy an automatic motor and wouldn't mind investing in a few buy to lets if i can. Most of all it's about being happy and staying healthy!

I have started to make more and more plans lately.
by the time I am 28-30
- I want to pass my qualification asap (ideally within 1.5 years now).
- Do quite a few challenges for charities (Three peaks(+ the purer version)/john o'groats to lands end/Sky dives/Bungees etc).
- Learn a new language and possible relearn french too + another instrument.
- carry on at the gym until i am at a size I am happy with.
By the time I am 35-40
- be as sucessful as possible and work my way up the ladder as quickly as possible, as for where/who i want to work for I dont know.
- Maybe live in NYC depends on many other things though.
Ideally I would love to be able to retire at 50 however I cant really see that one happening but its what ill aim for
