Right just ordered the one Brett linked, can't really go wrong for £20 and as iv got loads of shit cars it's probably worth having.

Hopefully it will give me a clue where to start replacing sensors, if not i will pop to the local garage who said they will do it for me for free (iv been going there for years) but I want to have a bash with this new toy first.

Eobd scanners are ok but sometimes you only get a manafacturers code.

Also clearing codes under EOBD will rest all the fuel trims so may get rid of your problem... For a short while until the ecu can't adapt no more again and it runs like shite.

Personally get someone to scan it under the manufacturer first mate. Cheap eobd code readers are cracking for the money tbh.

Sensors throwing codes up doesn't always mean they need changing too, let us know what codes you get out of it.
