Seeing the lights isn't 100% tho.

Was meant to be going to Norway next month but have had to put it off until next year
We're just taking a tent and going for a walk up a mountain to hopefully see them

Travelzoo normally do a good deal with flights/hotel/lights excursions for a decent price. We was going to go for our honeymoom but was at the time of the ash cloud so couldnt get there.

Don't expect them to look like the photos you see.
The photos are captured with long exposure settings so absorb more light making them more vivid and bright than they are.
From what I gather most of the time you can barely make it out with the human eye

Steve is exaggerating, as you can 100% see them. Mate saw them in Canada.

I looked into the Norway trip last year. Was mega expensive though. I wanted to do it under 3k but I couldn't have had a week for that price.

Seen the northern lights a few times when out working in Norway, And yes you can 100% see them.
Worth seeing but wouldn't pay JUST to go and see them.
