And that one was prob well restored, if not kept in perfect condition from after the war. Imagine how one that's been in a hole will fair, even if it is restored.


I imagine it was just a component failure, it can happen on a new plane and does occasionally.

Yeah think everyone was ok, I imagine it just slid on its belly but no-one injured.

that happened at an airshow guy looped a loop, belly landed and it exploded. Horrifying video

jrdn7, new planes regularly experience similar failure.

I guess they are just happy to have found something so far. At least finding a crate shows they are in the right area.

Must be getting close if they have found the water supply crates Strange to bury them in the first place though

That's exactly why I thought Alex.

Apparently LOTS of water is good as its groundwater and therefore contains less oxygen than normal, inhibiting rust, like the scenario with the Titanic I guess...

Also as said, finding something is a good start, better than just digging up endless amounts of Burma.
