right.. need help once again.

this is the cam shaft sensor right, found at the top of the engine on the airbox side..


this is the crankshaft sensor which is found underneath the car going into the engine block..


and this is meant to be a knock sensor for my make and model etc? but we can not find this bit on the car at all


car is a 1.0 12v year 2000, been searching all day trying to find out where the knock sensor pictured above is found on the car, we found the camshaft and the crankshaft sensor but the knock sensor just isnt anywhere. my dad thinks it doesnt even have it but vauxhall are saying that it does? :S anyone know where i would find it on my engine bay?

It's on the back of the block mate at the rear of the engine, you'll see it if you get it on stands And get underneath it. That's if it has one tho, I kno the x14/x16 engines do

AS Jay said, it'll be up the back underneath the inlet normally

Thanks guys, cheers for that found that my alternator has a crack in it while i was down there so im glad i looked now

Check the torque settings for bolting this on as too tight can cause issues.

What sort of torque are they meant to be at? Just out of curiosity
