Says there is a secret in the fact any two digit number will make 9.

Take your age for example: 28yrs

Add the digits together, and subtract from original number, then add the two numbers together again.

2+8=10
28-10=18
1+8=9

What is this all about tbh? Anyone see the guy i mean, he was on the news.

I think once you learn how to use it, its more impressive, its guy was adding up and multiplying massive numbers almost instantly. before the newsreader could type them into a calculator

My missus' is a primary school teacher and I was reading her notes the other night (bored) and I discovered that if the sum of individual digits add up to 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, etc then that means the number is divisible by 9...

Such as:

18
1+8 = 9
18/9 = 2

54963
5+4+9+6+3 = 27
54963/9 = 6107

Something to do with that.

Method is slightly different but its because you're treating the tens column as its own integer, it does special things with the significance of the leftmost digits.
